This course, fairly central to downtown Montreal, is a par-71, 6,813-yard Scottish style links course. The mounded fairways and enormous bunkers are quite an intimidating site, and the courses name is apt. The public is welcome at Le Challenger, and the course vows to treat every golfer of every skill level as a VIP. Green fees are in the $65-85 Canadian range.
Meadowbrook Golf Club

This Montreal golf course, founded just after World War II, is a par-71, 6,285 yard wooded course. The fairways are tight and flat and most greens are well surrounded with bunkers making approach shots key at Meadowbrook. Green fees are in the $28-$35 Canadian range.

This outstanding public facility just outside of Montreal in the province of Anjou features both an 18-hole championship course (7,005 yards) and an 18-hole executive course (2,751 yards).
